While these may be fine and all you do need to do some self policing because this is such a relatively new medium, people are coming up with new ways to rip people off so you should always make sure that you see what it is that you are buying before any money is exchanged and preferably you would be able to see some proof of ownership so that you are sure you are not investing in a lemon.

You can call the companies and cancel the service, yet still be paid for signing up for the GPT program.

Remember that GPT programs are a great way to supplement income but are not something to be relied on for monthly bills.

So how do you know which products to choose?

This is where your affiliate tools come in.  This is where targeted product research comes in.  This is also where SEO and keyword research starts to come into the picture, but the details of each of those will come in their due time, in their own, dedicated chapters.


Spotting the sellers

What you need to do to spot a moneymaker is find out what is selling and what is not.  Go to affiliate sites like Click Bank and Commission Junction.  Utilize the marketplace tools there and find out what products are performing-which products other affiliates are making money with.  Start there, but go further.  Consider the whole picture before you decide on the right affiliate products for you.

Go to these sites, and look at the market reports.  Don't just start with a top keyword search; find out what is selling-not just what is getting traffic hits.  Compare products in your chosen category against each other.  See which products are outperforming the others, and then go from there.  Build your website and your affiliate program around that product.  Then use your keyword analysis in the most productive way (as we'll show you).

Here's the trick, though.  You don't want to just grab the first products you see with the highest traffic generations.  Traffic in and of itself means very little.  You want the products that are actually converting-that are turning into sales.  So even if a products gets thousands of hits a day, but only a couple of those hits convert to purchases, it is probably not the product that will generate the kind of easy, hands-off sales you want.  A product with only a hundred (or fewer) hits per day that converts at a much higher rate would actually do much better.  It's the conversion and sales that you need to know, not just the traffic generated by searches.


What sells and what doesn't

Sometimes these statistics are things that you can find through the marketplace tools on affiliate lead sites.  Not always, though, and some sites are better at it than others, so you need to look at the proven factors that are more likely to result in sales.  The trick to this is really in knowing a bit about the psychology of buyers, and then using that to guide your efforts at SEO and marketing (but more on that later…).

First off understand that there are basically only two types of buyers of interest to you; they are

"    Buyers who are researching products, and
"    Buyers who need a product (or feel they need a product) because they need a solution to a problem (or think buying solves a problem-sometimes the problem is simple want)

Are there other types of traffic-generators out there?  Sure.  But most of them are not buyers who are ready or nearly ready to buy.  So that kind of traffic is essentially fluff.  It looks good on your site meter, but it doesn't make you money.  So it's not worth your time and effort.

This is where keyword research really comes into play.  Effective keyword research will target those buyers ready to buy, rather than those just looking around.  We'll break that down in later chapters.

It may seem as though we've gotten a bit away from the issue of niche selection.  Really, though, it's all intertwined.  To choose your niche-since you're not choosing on interest alone-you will need to know how to choose the niches that can perform.  You need to know how to spot the moneymakers, using your market tools.  

Now that you know your niche, we can start setting up your business.  We can go on to formulating a game plan and carving out your piece of the market action.

The ultimate goal of most working Americans is the ability to quit the daily grind and devote their energy and time to owning, operating, and maintaining a successful home based business. Considering the pre-built website versus the from scratch version may make little difference to someone who is not actually one of those computer fiends that in the past were not so affectionally referred to as nerds or geeks, but to the savvy affiliate marketer there is a good reason to opt for the from scratch version: it will be markedly different than the competition. The pre-built sites are a great marketing tool for those affiliate programs that are hurting for members and are looking for a large number of individuals to sign on quickly and therefore seek to sweeten the deal with a pre-built template website that already includes all of the marketing tools. While it is true that this will speed along the process and let you get in the game quicker and easier, it will not separate you from the competition and if you and a rival affiliate marketer have a similar clientele, you will find yourself losing sales and visitors simply because the other individual might have a higher search engine ranking.

One of the absolute most prolific pieces of advice for prospective affiliates is to work within their passions-to find their niche market in an area of personal interest and stay with it.  While there is a place for niche marketing in affiliate marketing, it is not what you have been led to believe that it is.  For sure, "work within your personal niche" is one of the worst pieces of advice given to new entrepreneurs, and the cause of multitudes of affiliate failures.

Do what interests you

Do what interests you; find your niche; do what you are passionate about; sell the products that interest you the most…

These are the pieces of advice that entrepreneurs are told time and again.  And there is some basis to this thought, some method behind this madness.

The overall belief is that if you choose to do business in an area or 'niche' that you are deeply interested in, that passion will shine through and you will make sales almost accidentally.  The feeling is that by selling products or working within your most favorite niche you will have a built-in sense of urgency and desire that will compel you to work on your business and to succeed.

Moreover, by working within a niche category of personal interest you will come prepared.  That is, you will come armed with bucket loads of knowledge and experiences with various products so that you don't have to 'waste time' getting up to speed.  You'll already know the products that deserve promotion.  And you'll know all the promotional background information almost off the top of your head.

The belief is that if you focus on promoting products that are in some way of interest to you, you can easily take care of business.  You can construct websites that will sell the products; you can write articles to submit to directories and gain links back to you, the niche expert; you can build blog upon blog and never run out of something great to say about your favorite little widget that so transformed your life as a widget collector (whether you should or not, is another matter, and we'll discuss that later).

Here's the thing about this-none of it is untrue.  It is easier to put yourself behind a product you already know.  It is easier to hit the ground running when you are already well-versed in matters.  It is easier to connect with visitors and readers who are more like you.  So why, then, is it a myth to believe that you should focus first and foremost on your personal-interest niche as an affiliate marketers?  Why can't that mean virtually automatic sales and commissions?

What's wrong with passion?

The reasoning against personal niche concentration is more simplistic than you might think.  And in point of fact, there are some exceptions to the rule, which we can touch upon after you understand why the myth in general is a myth.

Then cut to the chase already, right?  What's wrong with doing something you are passionate about?

There is nothing truly wrong with it.  But there is something unprofitable about it in an overwhelmingly large percentage of cases.  What is unprofitable about this mindset is that it is just too limiting. By choosing your business and products based on one personal preference, you lose the freedom of choice.  And that freedom is important, because it is what allows you to give buyers what they want, and saddles you with a limited number of affiliate product options, most of the time in a niche that isn't seeing very high demand.

Very simply, unless your niche interest happens to be in products or subject areas that coincide with what people are ready to buy, it does not come with the most essential element of affiliate marketing success-built-in customers.

What you most need to know, then, is how to build that small-niche affiliate website .

The purpose of this website is to develop a very consumer-specific website that provides information and resources for the person who is looking to buy a product of this type.  That's from the buyer's perspective. 

But you have search engines to please, too, so that content will need to do double-duty and also help you be found and ranked well for your target keywords and target audience.

There are two basic components to these small sites.  Those are

1. Articles and buyer-centric information
2. Products

The pages of your website will be split amongst these two components.  It probably should not be a straight 50/50 split.  The division should be weighted more in favor of information than products.  This will serve two purposes:

1. Information gives the buyer all the supporting information and details they need to decide to buy.
2. Information provides more feed for search engines so that buyers can find you.

However you decide to structure the actual website, it should have a simple division-information and products.

The product pages are simple.  Create a page for each individual product that gives the specifics on the product (often the information provided by the affiliate).  You need to give enough detail without overdoing it.  Set up the product pages so that when the visitor performs the desired action-clicks a 'buy' button, or opts for a free sample or service-they are taken to the affiliate website, where they [hopefully] will order and purchase your product.

The informational pages require a little bit more work, but not too much.  Each of these pages should host one piece of supporting information which helps your visitor decide to buy.  It should be an article, product review, or product comparison.  As you'll learn later, these are the things that will really draw the very specific and targeted ready to buy consumers that you want.  This is the information that they are looking for just prior to purchase, and so it is the information that is most likely to net serious buyers, and not just curious visitors.

Back to our example, if we have five muscle-building supplements, we'll have five pages of products and perhaps ten pages with articles and comparisons.  Use the articles to address the concerns of people in the market for supplements, and include topics important to them.  They might be side-by side comparisons, reviews of specific powders, or topics such as "Five Tips for Building More Muscle."

Now you've given your already needy buyers the two things they need to decide to buy your products-additional information, and the place to make the purchase.

Instead of focusing on the niche products, you need to focus on the products that can and do sell.  At least if you want to be one of the Big Dogs in internet marketing you do.  If you want to make the big commission checks and the easy, sell-themselves-while-I'm-in-the-tropics kind of sales the Big Dogs do, you have to think less about what you want to talk about and more about what customers want to hear. 

The other factor you must consider is sustainability.  When you do choose a niche, choose one with staying power.  Choose one that can be recycled over and over-that will continue to elicit demand again and again.  That will lend itself to up-selling with other products and/or upgrades.  And while you do that, focus on how you sell, not only what you sell, so that you can re-use what you learn.  That way, you can continue to be a Big Dog affiliate success well into the future (say, to retirement?) even as products and affiliate programs come and go.

If by now you are concerned and thinking, "Great.  Now I just don't know what to sell, and I thought I had it all figured out…" don't worry.  This book is here to re-train you and teach you to sell and make easy money the way the Big Dogs do.  Not the way the people making trickles and dabs of affiliate money do, the way the people living off affiliate commissions do.  And to that end, we will certainly clarify for you how to identify the products that will sell.  In fact, we'll do that shortly.  But first, let's take away another fear.

But I'm no expert
Okay, so now that we've dismissed the thought of selling niche products that you like, and taken away your automatic level of comfort with your product, we need to talk about how to correct that problem for you, yes?

It is a lot easier to sell something you know and love, surely.  It is easier-at least in the beginning-to build marketing and pre-sales around a product you have an interest in; meaning, if you are already an expert in "widgetta obscura" you could probably sit down and in one afternoon draft a complete website full of content on the matter.  And if you choose another product, say an in-demand high seller that you know next to nothing about, you'll have to do some research before you can belt out that content.  You'll have to become an expert all over again.

There. You've just been given the answer.  Did you see it?  Become an expert.  Just as you were not born an expert in widgets, just as you became an expert through study and use, you can do the same thing for any product that with excellent consumer demand. 

All that it takes to become an expert is some time spent reading, and eventually using your products.  You can become an authority.  You can become whatever type of expert you want to be.  And trust us when we say that you want to be the expert who knows the products with ready-to-buy consumers.

That being said, there is something more to consider-you don't really need to be an expert to be an effective affiliate!  By default it is quite likely you'll become one over time, but in the meantime all you need to do is let

The obvious choice would be to put your effort into your website and content.  You can achieve the same results by simply refreshing the content of your website.  You can add to its archives and additional resources sections (without muddying the primary pages we established before), and still give current information and additional value to your customers and to the search engines.

Not only can you add additional content, but you can test and tweak and change the content you have and test it against past versions.  As you'll learn, even very small, seemingly insignificant changes can really make a big difference to traffic and conversions.  Spend the time you would spend posting on a blog to look for ways that you can tweak or enhance your website.

And don't forget-you've got that master site to build.  Instead of devoting time to a minimal-return blog, why not get started on your big catch-all so that you can dominate your niche traffic?

Articles, Articles and More Articles

All the articles you write, or hire out to a freelance writer to have written, do not need to be posted on your website.  In fact, they shouldn't be.  Use those primary articles and tutorials on your site, add some new stuff now and again to keep everyone happy, and then submit to article directories.  Utilize profile and link capabilities to link back to your website, the authority on Widgets.  (You might know this method by other popular names, like "Bum Marketing" or "Article Marketing.")

Subscriber Lists and Mailings

This is something you need to take some care with.  Subscriber lists are not recommended for all types of products; leastwise, building your list through squeeze pages isn't recommended for everyone.  For many sites, the presence of a squeeze page between the website and merchant offer will only turn the visitor of, and send them packing to the next, less demanding provider.

Still, there are ways to make subscriber lists work.  If your product lends itself to this type of sales, then spend time crafting great emails and marketing campaigns instead.

Social Marketing

Social marketing is what is driving web 2.0.  Instead of spending your time on a new blog people may or may not eventually find, spend it on the blogs of others who've already captured your audience.  Become a contributing member of the community, make some friends, and use your wit and wisdom to get people to click on your name, link, or profile and visit your website.  Do the same by creating pages on social websites like Squidoo and MySpace; frequent forums and other places where potential buyers may gather.

By engaging in social marketing, you're bringing your products to the masses, rather than waiting for them to find you.  It's a much more active approach, and one that can be tailored to offer that all-important focus your affiliate plan needs.  Not only that, but it's a lot more fun than talking to yourself on your blog, too, and you won't have to worry about maintaining it when you're off on vacation enjoying all that Big Dog affiliate cash!

You know that as an affiliate you make x percent of each product sold.  Let's say you're earning a commission of say 50%.  That means that you are not making 50% of the revenue generated from that sale.  Someone is making just as much as much as you are!  Now yes, we'll give you this one point-that someone is also paying the expenses of development and production and other overhead, but you can bet they've set their price at well above expenses!

It is worth noting, too, while we have this conversation, that you can harness the power of back-end (as in dedicated, trusting, return buyers) sales with other affiliate products as well.  For instance, supposing you decide that being a product developer is just not for you, you can group and up sell complimentary products. 

Likewise, you can also reverse the strategy a bit so that you are first selling your product-an eBook or something similarly easy to create-and then up-sell an affiliate product.  But no matter how you decide to go about this, remember that it is all based on your established sales foundation.  Becoming a Big Dog affiliate is still your first order of business, then.

You can buy a turnkey business to start your home business. This is a business that’s either already in operation or, at the least, ready to go. The turnkey business is fully equipped. It needs only you to get it into operation. If you ever took over another kid’s paper route, you’ve already had experience with acquiring a turnkey business.

The Internet savvy web entrepreneurs of the World Wide Web are all scuttling to affiliate marketing programs.  Many people are interested in making easy money on the Internet and many people just don't know how to do it.  While there are some who are clever enough to have learned this a long time ago you need to know a few things about Internet searching before you're able to actually begin to make any money and see anytime a dent in your bottom line.

If you've heard about Federal Grants and always wanted to apply for one, this section will introduce you to the Federal Grant program.

The first place to look for federal grants is the government, which provides the largest number of grants to businesses and other organizations. An excellent and comprehensive place to begin your search for a federal grant is the Catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance, or CFDA. This catalog offers 15 different types of federal domestic assistance, including formula grants and project grants. Formula grants are given to states "in accordance with distribution formulas," and project grants provide funds for "specific projects . . . [which] can include . . . research grants, training grants, . . . technical assistance grants . . . and construction grants"

This site also gives information on how to apply for federal assistance. Essentially you use the search engine to find programs which will meet your needs. It will give you information on what the program offers and what you need to do to apply. It gives information for contacting the agency offering the grant so that you can find out directly from the source if your grant proposal or project proposal meets their parameters for funding, if there are funds available at the current time, and answers to any other questions you might have. If everything seems to match well, the next step is to apply for the grant. There is a standard form 424, called the Application for Federal Assistance that you will usually use, although certain agencies may have other forms you will need to fill out as well. The CFDA also gives help with writing the grant itself, and explains all the parts of a grant proposal.

You should also check out Grants.gov. This website lists all types of federal grants that the government offers. It offers a search engine that you can use to find grant opportunities, and you can also download an application for writing a grant proposal here as well.

In addition to the government, another place to look for grants is foundations and non-profit organizations. There are a couple of great websites that offer a lot of information about grants available through foundations and non-profits. One is The Foundation Center. One especially unique and useful feature of this site is a listing, both in a book form and online version, of Foundation Grants to Individuals. This lists, all in one place, grants for individuals rather than non-profit organizations. There is a small subscription rate for the online service, and the book is available for purchase

Their materials are also available at cooperating libraries. Additionally, they offer online courses in grant writing and how to research grant opportunities. As you might have noticed, some for-profit corporations also have foundations that sometimes provide grants. One well-known case in point of this type of funding would be Bill Gates of Microsoft Corporation who also has the Gates Foundation, which gives grants for educational purposes, for one example from among many of their beneficiaries.

Another useful site is USA.gov. Here they list USA.gov for Nonprofits. You might not currently be a non-profit, but you could either become one or you could become affiliated with one in order to become eligible for grant monies, so it doesn't hurt to take a look around this website. It offers many opportunities for grants and their eligibility requirements and application deadlines.

You might not find the grant you wanted through the government, but that's okay. There are other avenues available such as foundations and non-profit organizations that might be able to help you find the money you need.

So you want to look into getting grant funding to start you new business do you?  Well the first thing you will need is a business plan.

A business plan will also offer the entrepreneur peace of mind, because you will have gone through every aspect of the business, and you know how it will work, how much you can make from it, and how much it will cost to start and continue operating. After the business plan is written, you will have a pretty clear idea if your business has a good chance of succeeding or if it won't work.

The uses of local grant money can be as varied as the number of different grant programs you explore. Many grants from higher levels up at the state and federal level are bestowed on cities. There are often grant departments that function within a local city government, and their job is to find grants that can be used to fund city projects that will benefit all the citizens of the city. You need to do research before applying for a grant.

If you are going to start a business, you want to be reasonably sure that you will be successful with it before you put a lot of money into it. One way to do that is to research the type of business you would like to start. Whatever the particular industry is, whether a service-type industry or a product you'd like to manufacture and sell, you will want to take a look at industry trends. Is this industry growing or declining, both nationally and locally?

You will also want to take a look at every aspect of how this business will operate--how will a product be produced, focusing on all the exact steps. What is the process for providing a particular service? This will give you an idea of the amount of time needed to produce a product or perform a service, and how quickly you can do both of those things while still maintaining quality will determine how much business you can handle and how much money you can make. It will also tell you if this is a business you can do on your own or one for which you will need to hire employees.

Now is a great time to take a closer look at the market for your business. Who would want to buy your product or service? What product or service is it that those customers want to buy but currently cannot find available? Is there anyone else who sells such a product or service?

Where can you find the answers to these questions? There are many sources available, and many are low-cost or free. The Internet can be a great jumping-off point for information, as can any trade associations for the type of business you might want to start. They have online volunteers with experience in the business you would like to start, and you may e-mail them questions about your small business at no charge (Score, 1998). If you are fortunate enough to find someone who has experience with the business you want to start, see if that person would mentor you, perhaps in exchange for a product or service you could provide that person. Your local library is another great free source of information about business and business statistics (Washington State University-Small Business Development Center, 2005).

When you have some answers to the above questions and are starting to get a clearer idea of your new business, you will next want to consider what it will cost to start this new business. Now is the time to think about both what it will cost to start and then operate the business. What about advertising costs--how will new customers hear about your business?

Business taxes are also part of the cost, and you can get information from the Internal Revenue Service, your state Department of Revenue, or a certified public accountant. Will you need a license or permit to conduct your business? You can check with your state, county and city Departments of Licensing. You might need to include insurance and worker's compensation as part of your business cost, and your state Department of Labor and Industry can assist you with this (Washington State University-Small Business Development Center, 2005).

Make sure that you do your research and you will be much more prepared when applying for grants.

Federal grants can be applied for and used predominantly by organizations and non-profit organizations, but usually not individuals. The amount of grant money awarded varies by each individual grant, and you must follow their guidelines for using the funds. On the federal level, the government tends to offer more loans than grants for individuals who would like to use the money to start a business. There are some federal grants available that can be used to help and enhance already established small businesses. For instance, if your business deals with a field of science based on plants or animals, there is a Small Business Innovation Research Program that provides a project grant for small businesses to do research that will "stimulate technological innovation and the national return on investment from research through the pursuit of commercialization objectives"

This is simply one example out of many available that pertains to how federal grants can be used.

What can't they be used for?

In general, federal grants tend to be given to organizations and non-profits rather than individuals. These organizations are usually located at the state and local levels, so then the money typically filters down to individuals through state and local organizations. However, there are a few exceptions, such as the Foundation Grants for Individuals, as mentioned earlier.

Federal grant money might be awarded as a project grant for use in completing a project. This would cover project expenses, but would not cover things like start-up costs for your business, or your personal living expenses while you worked on the project. If you are looking for grant money to take care of your living expenses, or health expenses, there is another website called www.GovBenefits.gov, which offers assistance in these areas.

As you begin reading each individual grant, you will see important information that you can use to determine if you should apply for the particular grant and for what it can and cannot be used. One feature that you will find in each specific grant entry is the average grant size awarded. This will help you when you are working on a budget for your project, and you can determine if the grant offered is an appropriate size for your project. If there are any restrictions placed upon who is eligible to apply, you will see it in the grant entry. Perhaps the grant is limited to people who live in a certain state or a certain city or area of the country. You might also see a listing of sample grants, where you will get to look at current recipients of grants from a particular organization. This information can help you determine if your proposed project has any similarities and if it will be a good fit for the foundation or the grant-making organization. Each entry will also go through application procedures, so you will know exactly what you will need to do to apply for the grant.

Make sure you take advantage of all of the grant programs the federal government offers.  If these grant sources aren't used, they will disappear.

Although many of these programs are focused on providing state grants for low and middle-income students to attend college, there are some grants available for businesses.

For example, did you know that on the Governor of Texas's website they list procurement opportunities? If your business sells furniture, or if your business provides services such as computer programming and service, maintenance and repair, moving services, or temporary personnel, then your business might be eligible to "procure" the contracts and you would make the money for them. This is not a grant per se, but it does offer the opportunity for a business to get money that does not have to be paid back.

If you are in New York, the state's Governor's Office of Regulatory Reform site offers tax credits for businesses that operate and are certified in the Empire Zone. This will save your business money, and make it easier for you to stay in business and put your money toward expanding the business rather than paying taxes. New York also offers low-rate loans for existing small business expansion.

If you want to relocate a business to New Jersey, the state offers a grant in the form of tax credits to offset your business taxes. The grant can be as high as eighty percent of your taxes, so it definitely pays to look into these types of opportunities at the state level. There are also grants available for employee training in job safety and health and basic literacy skills.

If you live in Connecticut, according to the state's office of Policy and Management you may be eligible for a grant for $10,000 if you are an individual or company with less than 30 employees that has created a renewable energy technology that has not yet been sold. You can use the money for such purposes as product development and testing, developing your business plan or meeting your payroll, among others.

This is just a small selection of what type of business assistance is available at the state level, but it gives you a jumping off point of some of the places in your state where grant money might be available. It also is wise to remember that, in terms of state grants, many foundations and non-profit organizations give grants to people living in a particular state, but mostly those people have to be a non-profit organization or affiliated with one and not an individual in order to qualify.

State grants are a great source of getting funding from your business but they only account for some of the available sources of grants.

It can then be submitted online when it is complete. You can also track your application online as well, to see where it is in the process of evaluation and acceptance.

If you choose to apply for a grant at this website, you will need to register with them as either an organization or an individual. Individuals registered as such are only allowed to apply for grants for individuals and not grants for organizations. If you are registering as an organization, you will need to select someone in your organization to be the authorized organization representative who will register with a credential provider.

There is also a helpful e-mail alert feature where they will send you an e-mail describing new grant postings on the site. Here you will find a glossary of the terms that you will see used at the website and a list of frequently asked questions. State and County Economic Development Offices

After you type the above descriptor into a search engine, you will receive a list of different offices. You will want to look for your state and select that one. Many states also offer community service block grants which might provide you with the funding you require. When you start an internet marketing business, one of the mistakes that you will make is to let a lot of different things distract you from building your business. This happens to everyone that has a business online. The one thing that you have to do is to learn how to keep yourself focused on what you are trying to achieve. The more focused you are on your business, the faster you will make money with it, and the success you want will be yours that much faster. There are a couple of different things that you can do to help you stay focused on your business.

• You want to set some goals. This is something that a lot of people don’t do. Believe it or not but goals are extremely helpful for helping you stay focused. You want to write down short term goals for three months and six months. You also want to write down your long term goals for one year and five years. Make sure that you are realistic with your goals. You don’t want to have a three month goal of make $100,000. That is not going to happen. So make sure that you put down goals that you know you can achieve. Once you have your goals wrote down you want to make sure that you put them in a place you can see them every day. That way when you start getting side tracked you can read them to help remind you of what you are working towards.
• Set up a dream board or a goal board with pictures. All you need for this is a poster board or a bulletin board. You then will need some magazines or pictures of things that you want in your future as your business starts making more money. This is much like the goals that you set but different in a big way. When you can visualize what you are working towards, such as the house you have always wanted or your dream car, you won’t believe how much this can help you stay in focus. Being able to see visual pictures of what you want will make all the difference in the world. You want to put everything on this board that you want. From your dream house, car, animals, money, or anything else you want. Then you want to hang it in a place where you can see it every single day.
• Make a list every day of what you want to accomplish, then don’t stop working until you get it all done for that day. There may be some things that will take you a couple of days to get done. That is okay as long as you put them on your list every day until they are done. By having a list you will keep yourself focused on what needs to be done to help you grow your business.
• Set aside a certain time to work. You also need to have a place where you can work with no interruptions. Let your friends and family know what time you are going to be working. When you try and work with disruptions you will not get as much done as you should. The more time you can work the faster you will be able to grow your business.

All of these things will help to keep you focused on what you are trying to accomplish. You don’t have to do these things but you will find that they make it so much easier for you to get things done and to help you keep going towards your goals. When you are not able to keep yourself focused you will never be able to reach the success that you know you can achieve.
