sfi help for newbies

Hi ,
I'm going to go over some things. Please excuse me if I give too much detail.I never know how much a person knows.
You'll need your ID from the SFI welcome letter 
AND if you need to , you can retrieve your password by entering your email.
Choose a Focus
But to make money in SFI, you dont have to sell products. There are free and paid ways to make money.
Let your sponsor know a little about you
are good with a computer and internet?
Are you good with building relationships ?
Would you like to earn money by simply putting a sticker on your car and handing out business cards.?
SFI has different focuses or ways to make money for each of these.
I'll tell you what. After you login next time, fill out your profile and tell your sponsor a little about you and what you want to do.

SFI has a very large  help section too that has answers to frequently asked questions. It is there FAQ section.
I willl put a few links that will be useful to you below.
But don't let all the options keep you away from SFI. Its actually pretty simple to make money in SFI.
*You can earn extra money by selling things
*YOu can give people coupons to use to save money
*you can refer others to SFI (network marketing, very lucrative)
* You can refer people to a number of Gateways including MP3 Music Downloads (called Tune Flow)
* They have telecommunications and wireless service worldwide
* you can refer people to the IAHBE (International Association of Home Business Entrepreneurs)
* you can even earn money by puttng a cling on sticker on your car and giving out business cards
* AND More ways
Remember that you can make the most money in SFI by becoming an EA.
You can become an EA by getting 10 SVP or volume credits.
You can get these credits by a membership in the IAHBE which has much more training in it.
or by buying products or selling products or referring as outlined.

How To Make Money in SFI

Now I'll give you my own perspective...

Let me point out that you can earn income both as a free member and a paid member. As a free member, it will most likely take longer. But focus programs as nice offers, iahbe, eyeearn and others have f.ree options.

The main goal in sfi first each month is to get 10 SVP points . That will make you an EA member. You can get SVP points by referring others to the products available at the sfi provided websites.

You can also get 10 SVP points to qualify by buying SFI products yourself at a discount of course in your back office or after you login to sfi

Or you can become an EA by simply buying a membership to the IAHBE  or the international association of home business entrepreneurs.

This option is $29.95 and  I feel its the best option for a solid start  not only with SFI but with  home business.

A good  way to get EA free, is to get some products from SFI that you normally would get elsewhere. They are very good quality and at the same time you'll get 10 SVP and earn EA status.

Another great way to be an EA is to recruit members to IAHBE. If this affiliate pays for his / her membership each month, you get 10 SVPs each month. In order to do that option you need to have an affiliate either remain as a paid subscriber or recruit more people if hey stop.

Myself, I do both. I keep my IAHBE membership and if somebody joins too, I get a bonus and my money is returned in comissions anyway.

As far as earnings, well let me be honest. My first month as EA , I only earned $11 ! Wow was that a wake up. You know why? because I didnt do anything. But I started talking to others, placing ads in classifieds, leaving my home made business cards (made out of card stock and pen) all over town , and putting links on the web. Well, I started getting leads  and emailing or calling them. I mostly found people like me looking for a  legitimate way to bring in extra income from a home based business. The next month my income was about $110 and then $300 and grew from there. Now I earn a full time income but you should set a realistic goal to be making serious income within 6 - 12 months if you work at it. I'm not saying you have to wear yourself down, No, even part time 5-10 hours a week, you can make a good income.  Full time SFI affiliates are earning 6 and 7 figure annual income.
